Project "Geography Labs and On-line Environments [1]," coordinated by Sonia Gabrielli, a teacher at the Istituto comprensivo Frosinone 4 [2], will participate in the 8^th edition of the Global Junior Challenge [3] in the "up to 10 years old" category.

The project was conceived to develop a range of different and independent learning processes through participatory practices that allow children to exercise all their creativity in relation to educational content by transforming them with digital tools to create a more fluid and productive flow between formal and informal knowledge.

The objective of the educational project is to recognise the pedagogic value of Geography: exploration, knowledge and familiarity with maps serve as the basis for greater objectives that promote self-awareness of mankind’s relation with the environment.
