ll centro estivo ha come obiettivo principale di colmare un bisogno richiesto dai genitori, per dare l’opportunità alle famiglie di usufruire ulteriormente della struttura scolastica (Don Gioacchino Rey) offrendo un sostegno, per quell’arco di tempo in cui non possono dedicarsi, per vari motivi, ai loro figli. Partendo da questo principio la Libero Sport a.s.d. (www.liberosport.it) ha deciso di offrire ai bambini, la possibilità di provare nuove emozioni attraverso un tipo di esperienza molto coinvolgente: • Educare attraverso lo sport, al valore delle regole e al rispetto del prossimo; • Stimolare la conoscenza di nuove discipline sportive; • Creare nuove occasioni di arricchimento e apprendimento; • Sviluppare la spontaneità dei ragazzi.

What are the specific objectives of the project and what are the instruments used to achieve them?: 
Offrire la possibilità di usufruire nel migliore dei modi la struttura scolastica, permettendo alle famiglie di valorizzare le attrezzature sportive e ricreative che possono essere utilizzate per avviare una continuità della pratica sportiva dei bambini anche nel periodo scolastico. - Offrire un valido supporto per lo svolgimento dei compiti a casa; - Coinvolgere più bambini possibile senza distinzione di provenienza o condizione economica; - Favorire, attraverso la pratica sportiva, l’integrazione di soggetti in condizione di disagio, soggetti svantaggiati o portatori di handicap; - Offrire un momento ludico-sportivo ai bambini più piccoli, avviandoli alla formazione psicomotoria fondamentale per il loro sviluppo fisico. - Sviluppare la creatività e le abilità manuali dei ragazzi attraverso la realizzazione di laboratori; - Favorire l’aggregazione e la socializzazione tra i bambini con attività specifiche

IL PROGETTO NASCE DALL'ESIGENZA DEGLI ALUNNI, INSERITI PER LO PI๠IN UN CONTESTO SOCIO-CULTURALE ETEROGENEO, DI RAFFORZARE LA PROPRIA IDENTITà  CULTURALE CONFRONTANDOLA CON REALTà  EUROPEE CHE CONOSCONO SONO IN MODO "VIRTUALE". IL PROGETTO, INOLTRE, HA CONSENTITO DI RAFFORZARE L'APPRENDIMENTO DELLE LINGUE E IL DIALOGO INTERCULTURALE E LA PROMOZIONE DELLA DIGITALIZZAZIONE E L'USO DELLE NUOVE TECNOLOGIE. IL PROGETTO SI è SVILUPPATO ATTRAVERSO L'APPLICAZIONE DI METODOLOGIE INNOVATIVE COME IL COOPERATIVE LEARNING, L'EDUCAZIONE TRA PARI, LE LEZIONI INTERATTIVE, IL ROLE PLAYING E LA DIDATTICA LABORATORIALE.
