CLUB DIGITAL IS A NON FORMAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM FOR TEENAGERS FROM 12 TO 18 YEARS OLD. IT PROVIDES TECHNOLOGICAL SKILLS FOR YOUTH FROM UNDESERVED AREAS. WE PROMOTE THE COLLABORATIVE WORK, THE CRITICAL THOUGHT AND THE RESPECT BETWEEN THE PEOPLE.  WE ALSO HELP TO DEVEOLP THE CREATIVITY OF YOUTH BY USING TECHNOLOGICAL TOOLS. MEMBERS AT CLUB DIGITAL CAN DEVELOP THEIR OWN IDEAS, THEY HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE GUIDANCE FOR AN ADULT FIGURE, WHOSE ROLE IS TO MOTIVATE AND GIVE SUPPORT TO THEIR CREATIVITY PROCESS. THEY WORK IN PROJECTS BASED ON THEIR OWN INTERESTS. THE FACILITATOR HELP MEMBERS TO DISCOVER MEMBERS INTERESTS.

THE PRINCIPAL GOAL IS TO PROVIDE A FREE, SAFE AND CREATIVE OUT OF SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT, WHERE YOUNG PEOPLE CAN HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY OF EXPLORE THEIR CREATIVITY BY THE USE OF TECHNOLOGICAL TOOLS.

CLUB DIGITAL CEBIS IN TLAXCALA

A "CLUB DIGITAL JOVENES" IS AN EXTRA SCHOLAR PLACE WHERE YOUNG PEOPLE FROM 12 TO 18 CAN EXPLORE THEIR CREATIVITY BY HAVING ACCESS TO TECHNOLOGICAL TOOLS. IT IS  TOTALLY FREE FOR THEM. THEY CAN DO THEIR HOMEWORK, THE CAN DEVELOP THEIR OWN VIDEO GAMES, THEY CAN DO A PERSONAL PRESENTATION, A RADIO PROGRAM OR WHATEVER THEY ARE INTERESTED ON.

THIS PROJECT WAS INSPIRED ON THE INTEL COMPUTER CLUBHOUSE PROGRAM, WE HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE IN MEXICO, BUT THE PROBLEM WAS THAT IT WAS VERY EXPENSIVE. WE DIDN'T HAVE SPONSORS TO CONTINUE WORKING IN THAT WAY, IT WAS AN INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM. SO WE STARTED TO DEVELOP A  NEW IDEA WHERE MANY ACTORS COULD BE INVOLVED. WE OPEN OUR PANORAMA, WE INVITED MANY NON PROFIT ORGANISATIONS, GOVERNMENTAL ORGANISATIONS, PUBLIC & PRIVATE INSTITUTIONS AND CYBER COFEES.

WE HAD GOOD RESULTS, THESE ACTORS PUT THE INFRASTRUCTURE AND THE HUMAN RESOURCES. WE PROVIDED THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM, THE CLUB DIGITAL TRAINING, THE FOLLOWING UP AND THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF EACH CLUB DIGITAL PROCESS.

  • THE MAJOR CHALLENGE IS THE ACCPETANCE OF NEW WAYS OF WORK. THE CLUB DIGITAL IS BASES ON A CONSTRUCTIVIST MODEL. EVERYBODY CAN LEARN FORM THE OTHER EVEN HE OR SHE IS AN ADULT OR A CHILD. SPECIALLY FOR PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T HAVE THE EXPERIENCE ON WORKING MORE LIKE A FACILITATOR THAN A TEACHER.
