Versione stampabileInvia a un amicoCreative commons is the title of an eTwinning project of a Belgian and a Spanish school. The pupils
collaborated last schoolyear for about 4 months. Our aim was to explore together the fabulous world
of Web 2.0 tools. At the same time we wanted to be creative and, of course, communicate in the
community of blogs we built. We also wanted our pupils to pay respect for the creative work of an author.
The students followed the steps we presented and completed the tasks of the project. Now, they are able
to build a WordPress blog and add posts. They can modify the header, they can present themselves by
means of an embedded slideshow (e.g. using Rock You). They can also add a counter. They know the
conditions of using online material (Creative Commons – copyright). They know how to use Web 2.0
tools to edit pictures and to integrate the pictures into a blog. They know how to embed polls and
RSS-feeds. They know how to make a movie combining pictures with sounds. They know how and
where to host movies and embed them into a blog.
This project has also the objective of dissemination. Every part of the project is described in a transparent
and open way so that any one who wants to have benefit of our work can do so. In the project’s blog all
information and outcomes can be found: http: //creativecommonsetwinning.wordpress.com.
