The realization of international projects increases the variety of post-lessons resources in a school, activates and inspires children to discover their hidden talents and intresting topics or people in their environment. Encourages to document the most important events in a school. Students also develop their skills in using informatics technology: using text editors, scaners, digital cameras, the Internet and the web post.
Technology it is used as a tool for education, and personal and social development of its users. Cooperation motivates to use technology for social contacts, and to learn how to use new software and hardware. Acquired experience in the use of multimedia can foster lifelong participation in distance learning courses available around the world.
eTwinning opens door to education of the future, integrates local environment, provides space for teacher development. Technological resources available in schools are used more extensively and effectively as tools for teaching and learning.
Similar project can be effactuated in every school. In this project can participate small groups of interested students, it may be also an altenative to tradicional lessons dedicated to fairy tales.
In June we finished the first part of our project. Next year we want to continue, expanding it and gradually adding new countries and new partners to it.
We try to be a school active in its environment , opened to a cooperation with parents, local government, and non-governmental organizations. We manage series of international student exchange with schools in Germany and the Czech Republic,we implement various educational projects. In order to fully use our library – School’s Information Center – has proposed children to implement the Project using imformatics and communicating technology. The students reacted well. We conceived the topic and we started to search for a partner. After a few days of searchings we received a proposal to Implement the Project In Polish from French partner. Together we worked out the Project’s rules.
For us the language barrier is the hardest.
In order to gather experience In international partnership through the Internet, and in Internet science, I accomplished the online course for teachers „How to participate In eTwinning Programme”. From the beginning the students were enjoying the work in the Project and they still are (also during the holidays). Next year I want more teachers from our school to be interested in the Program.
