13. Background information
Background:

We try to be a school active in its environment , opened to a cooperation with parents, local government, and non-governmental organizations. We manage series of international student exchange with schools in Germany and the Czech Republic,we implement various educational projects. In order to fully use our library – School’s Information Center – has proposed children to implement the Project using imformatics and communicating technology. The students reacted well. We conceived the topic and we started to search for a partner. After a few days of searchings we received a proposal to Implement the Project In Polish from French partner. Together we worked out the Project’s rules.

Barriers:

For us the language barrier is the hardest.

Solutions:

In order to gather experience In international partnership through the Internet, and in Internet science, I accomplished the online course for teachers „How to participate In eTwinning Programme”. From the beginning the students were enjoying the work in the Project and they still are (also during the holidays). Next year I want more teachers from our school to be interested in the Program.

Future plans and wish list:
The project was covered by the auspices of the European Year of Creativity and Innovation 2009, received the National Quality Label in France and Poland, and in the "eTwinning in the school library" received third place in the country. We are planning to continue the Project in the next schoolyear. We will know even more fairy tales and European countries.
