project aims to promote the wedding traditions of our village Borod, which is situated on Bihor county Transilvania. the idea was born from the desire to preserve and pass on future this beautiful traditions. idea belonged of history teacher Silaghi Antonia along with Romanian teacher Mehes Mirela.

Our targets are:
-recovery-positive ethno-cultural diversity
-preservation of local investigation and finding similarities and differences between people living in a particular geographic area
-students involved in activities and documentation to synthesize information collected
-use by students of technical tools ( computer) in the realization of presentations
-creation of a proud citizen of the specific European or national
This project brings inovations by introducing the method of the project in the pupils' way of working. We are a rural area school, and we never be involved in this type of project, and for that pupils are very interested.
What does it try to achieve and how:
The pupils receive a theme to search for information, they will have to investigate, sinthesize, organize, and make presentations with their work. Each student make a presentation help of ICT with tipycal dishes, traditional costumes, wedding ceremony. Finally they will present in the class to their colleagues. Finnaly students will play a traditional wedding and we share this video-clip with all schools that are involved in a project.
Which opportunities/problems does it address to:
We have a good oportunity to present our wedding in a cultural show from Ungaria, and we are very proud that the Hungarians were very excited. Hopefully we can promote traditional Romanian wedding in other parts of the world.
Please explain what is unique or special in your project:
First are our unique traditional costumes, tipycal dishes are unique and all the wedding customs of a traditional wedding. Until now, has not been played atraditional wedding by children and thet because in a traditional wedding are many roles that are held by various people as "Chematorul"-which made the invitations to the wedding, "Graitorul"- which maintain the pleasant atmosphere of the wedding.

Describe the results of your project as per today:
because in this project colaborate schools from many country from Europe, i think that the most important result is the change of experience and the colaborations with other schools from other country. the benefits of the students are the study and practices of the english language, use ICT, developement of creativity and of capacity to work independently.
How does it fulfill the users’ needs:
we help students to find the necesary informations, to prepare their presentations, to translate into english.
How many users interact with your project per month and what are the preferred forms of interaction:
are many users which interact with our project. are 54 schools from Europe which participate in this project, we interact in a web site, from chat, email.
How has it improved the quality of educational and/or training services:
students learn to use drawing programs(Corel Photoshop, Coreal Draw), Office programs(powe point, word) and could choose their own way to making and presenting their tasks. this project develop the students creativity, each pupil have posibility to make presentation in his own personal way.
How has it improved the participation of professionals, children, youth and other stakeholders:
the students make presentations and from that they are play a traditional wedding. teachers involved in this project prepare all food that are necesary from the wedding, and local comunity give us all that are necesary for the proper development of the project.
How does it promote the use of ICT for the educational and cultural development by professionals, children and youth:
students make their presentations in diferent ways. some have made power point presentations with pictures and description, others have made drawings which they then scanned and made presentations, some were filmed and then using the computer achieved what they had done.

I attended the wedding with a traditional cultural contest took first place, and that represent for us a good way of assessment.
