Tatiana Ershova |
Tatiana Ershova is the Director General of the Institute of the Information Society. She has been involved in the development and expertise of IS policies and programs at institutional and regional levels, as well as in the activities of several international associations and expert groups (IFLA, GJC).
She has been the PI and an expert for a number of ICT related projects supported by 2 Russian national science foundations and UNESCO, speaker to and organiser of quite a number of national and international conferences and workshops.
She is author of over 50 publications in national, foreign and international professional journals and mass media. In 2001 she initiated the creation of the multi-stakeholder Russian e-Development Partnership.
Her professional background is the Russian State Library, where she made a gapless career from an ordinary staff member up to a Deputy Director and, finally, the Acting Director.
