Denise Odhiambo


Denise Odhiambo graduated in Electronics Engineering specializing in Computer Science and Telecommunications from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. He was later awarded a full scholarship to study Business entrepreneurship at Santa Clara University in California, USA in recognition of his outstanding ICT applications to peace building.
He is the founder and the Executive Director of Cyber Host, a not for profit organization that introduces ICTs for sustainable livelihoods within rural communities. He has previously worked at the African Regional Centre for Computing, the first Internet Service Provider in East and Central Africa region. His efforts in Youth rehabilitation using ICTs has been rewarded by various international bodies such as INFODEV, the Global Junior Challenge and IICD.
He was the winner of Global Junior Challenge 2002 held in Rome, Italy and the GKP 2003 youth award in Geneva, Switzerland.
