“ENO-Environment Online”

Project ENO is an outstanding case of global educational collaboration on the environment and sustainable development through the Internet and for practical local action. ENO learners gather information and share it both, locally, through campaigns such as the yearly tree-planting event and, globally on the web, where a rich learning environment has taken shape over the years. ENO also pursues school twining particularly for the benefit of developing countries. Impressively, since August 2000, about 30,000 students and 4000 teachers in 100 countries have participated in the ENO Program and, since 2004, over 25,000 trees have been planted in about 80 countries.
