Global Junior Challenge Prizes

The Global Junior Challenge awards three types of Prizes:

(1) Main GJC Award to winning project selected from among all participants
The winners are awarded a statue of the Etruscan wolf and Romulo and Remo, the prestigious symbol of the foundation of the City of Rome.

(2) The President of the Italian Republic Award
The President of Italy, Giorgio Napolitano, has kindly donated three silver cups to be awarded to the three best projects from among the Italian schools participating at the competition.

(3) The GJC Award for finalist projects from poor areas of the world
This award is exclusively those finalist projects from poor areas of the world having a relevant impact on the reduction of poverty and enhancement of social inclusion.

The prizes to all winners at the GJC are given out during the GJC Award Ceremony that take place at the historical Campidoglio City Hall in the heart of Rome, with the participation of the Mayor of Rome and other personalities.
